Pattern Design & Beyond: An Insider’s Guide to Creating and Managing Your Own Surface Design Career is an excellent resource for anyone interested in learning about surface design and the industry. I haven’t submitted anything to Minted lately, so I decided to work on a couple submissions for the February Showers challenge. Designers were asked to create bridal or baby shower invitations. These are the two that I submitted. I haven’t won any challenges yet, but perhaps this will be my lucky month! 
My scratch sheet is the piece of paper I use to test out colors and pens before I commit to making a mark on the “real” paper. I thought this section looked particularly cool with all the paint blending and my random phrases :)
